Virginia Beach Bike Trails
Virginia Beach boasts more than 200 miles of bikeways and trails, not counting the scenic nature trails in more than 230 parks and natural areas. Plus, with 23 miles of unpaved paths in two state parks and a federal wildlife refuge, it’s easy to see why outdoor lovers can find it all in Virginia Beach. Plus, with new paths, lanes, routes and roads being added regularly, it’s also no surprise that Virginia Beach is frequently recognized as one of America’s healthiest cities and a favorite for biking enthusiasts.
With so many bike trails in Virginia Beach to explore, there’s a path for all interests and skill levels. You can find scenic routes along the Oceanfront’s Boardwalk, more intense trails for adventure seekers and even specialty bike trails dedicated to those who want to combine a bike ride with an interest in art, beer, history or family fun. Check out the self-guided bike tours and maps below for more information on the Bike, Brew, and Arts Trail; a Bike, Brew, and History Trail; and a Family Fun Trail.
